Imagine you were a type foundry and you created a way to let graphic designers take your fonts for a test drive before they had to pony up the cash to make those fonts their own. Do you think it would help you sell more fonts?

FontShop certainly thinks so and to that end they've created the FontShop CS Plugin for Photoshop. Currently in Beta, this a pretty smart way for a type foundry to peddle its wares; let designers use their fonts to create comps for designs that clients can't live without and those fonts will become a bigger must-have than the latest it thing summer fashion.
