Today on WSAV Tech Tuesday, we talk about Get Glue, a social media network that lets you check-in to your favorite TV shows, movies, books, and music. Think of it like foursquare for entertainment.

Checking in on Get Glue allows you to:

  • Connect and converse with other fans of the same movies, TV shows, etc.
  • Get recommendations based on the things you like.
  • Earn limited edition stickers that you can have mailed directly to your door FOR FREE.
  • Get discounts on merchandise from some of your favorite shows.
  • And, as usual, you can connect Get Glue to your Twitter and Facebook accounts if you want to share your Get Glue activity across your other social networks.

    What Does Watching Television Look Like in 2012?

    This stat-tastic infographic includes such findings as 50% of TV isn't watched on TV and 60% of people multitask on social media while watching television.     More People Tweet Than Facebook While Watching TV

    A new study from TVGuide.com reports that Twitter users are more likely than Facebook users to post during TV shows.
