With cold and flu season approaching, people are beginning to hit the local pharmacy for vaccinations, cold medicines and hand sanitizer. These are efficient measures, but who knew disinfecting the remote at a hotel or the Wii Fit Balance could play a just as important part in preventing germification.

- 16% of cell phones were found to have feces on them

- Keyboards have about 60 times more germs than the average toilet seat

- A TV remote control is the single dirtiest item in a typical home, hospital, or hotel room. It is considered to be dirtier than the toilet, sink handles, door handles, and bedspread
